Nugget Point, The Catlins.
Looking north up the Otago coastline on the east coast of The South Island, New Zealand on what looks to be a calm day. I’m happy to say there was very little wind and it made the walk to the lighthouse enjoyable.
This is a rugged part of the country with the Southern Ocean crashing against sheer cliffs and the prevailing south east wind forcing the bush to grow low and dense.
